There’s a big difference between owning a 4×4…
and being part of an off-road community.
A Facebook group can connect people.
A real club can organize those people with experienced trail leaders, planned runs, education, recovery knowledge, vehicle help, stewardship, advocacy, community service, and friendships that continue long after everyone airs their tires back up.
That’s RattleSnake 4x4s.
Since 2016, RS4x4s has grown from a local Tri-Cities 4×4 club into an off-road community with members across the western United States, including Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona—all connected by a shared love of four-wheel-drive adventure, the outdoors, and the community that comes with it.
And you don’t need a highly modified rig or years of experience to belong.
Our adventures range from mild to wild, with many runs suitable for relatively stock 4x4s. New to wheeling? Come learn from people who have been doing it for years. Experienced? Come share what you know—and discover some new places with us.
Trail Runs & Overland Adventures
From local day trips and snow runs to camping weekends and multi-day, out-of-state expeditions.
Experience You Can Learn From
Trail etiquette, spotting, recovery, vehicle setup, maintenance, navigation, and the little things you only learn after years on the trail.
People Who Have Your Back
When something breaks, somebody gets stuck, or you just need another set of hands in the garage, this community has a long history of showing up for one another.
Protecting the Places We Explore
Responsible wheeling matters. RS4x4s supports Tread Lightly! and BlueRibbon Coalition and believes that enjoying public lands comes with a responsibility to take care of them and help preserve motorized access for the next generation.
A Club That Serves Its Community
Our members don’t just show up on the trail. We show up for our community.
We’ve transported medical personnel during severe winter weather, assisted with off-highway vehicle recoveries, provided traffic control for major community events, participated in work parties and trail cleanups, and raised funds for local charities.
Today, our primary beneficiary is Friends of Disabled Veterans, and we’re incredibly proud to support their work serving veterans, first responders, and their families.
And maybe the best part?
The friendships.
The campfires.
The radios crackling on the trail.
The inside jokes.
The person who spots you through something you weren’t sure you could do.
The convoy heading toward somewhere you’ve never been.
The friends who eventually feel a lot more like family.
A Facebook group can help you find a trail.
A 4×4 club gives you people to explore it with.
Whether you’ve been wheeling for 20 years or just bought your first 4×4 and aren’t quite sure where to start, there’s a place for you here.
Don’t just own the adventure. Be part of it
